Zambia registered a 1-0 win over Uganda in an international friendly match played at the Nelson Mandela National Stadium in Kampala on Tuesday.
Both sides used the match to prepare for upcoming 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers this weekend.
Zambia travels to Cameroon for a Group B clash while Uganda will be at home to Congo Brazzaville in a Group E match in Kampala.
FC Ural midfielder Chisamba Lungu scored the only goal of this preparatory match in the 25th minute to boost the confidence of the Chipolopolo ahead of their visit to Yaoundé.
The victory comes on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Zimbabwe in another buildup match played in Harare four days ago when Nyirenda used only players from the local league.
Zambia is in Group B along with Algeria, Cameroon and Nigeria.
