Injury knocks out Malama from Gabon friendly

Injury has ruled out Nkana defender Donashano Malama from Saturday’s international friendly match against Gabon.

Team manager Chris Chibuye told Fazfootball.com that Nkana medics had communicated with the national team to inform them of the injury Malama picked up during the weekend match against Real Nakonde.

Chibuye said that Malama had picked up a knee injury and would not be available for the game on Saturday.

He said that Malama had been replaced with Nkwazi midfielder Eric Chomba.

Coach Wedson Nyirenda has named 23 players for the match against Gabon to be played in Libreville.

The team leaves for Gabon on Thursday morning.
