Power too Good for Napsa in league showdown

Power Dynamos left it late to dispatch visiting Napsa Stars 1-0 in an enthralling week two MTN/FAZ Super Division fixture played at Arthur Davies Stadium.

Napsa Stars had come into this fixture on the back of an emphatic 3-0 win over Nchanga Rangers but fell to an 85th minute Jimmy Ndhlovu strike.

The pensioners had held their own staving off power for the larger part of the match but their otherwise outstanding goalkeeper Rabson Mucheleg’anga had a moment of lapse letting the poaching instincts of Ndhlovu who had come in for Lyson Sikaonga.

Napsa stars had welcomed under-20 midfielder Enock Mwepu back from a trial spell in Austria but his presence did help save his side from defeat.

The win gives Power Dynamos their first maximum points after having drawn 3-all in their opening match against Lusaka Dynamos.

In the other match played at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium Real Nakonde came from behind to draw 1-all with Forest Rangers.

Green Mumba had put Forest Rangers ahead in the 84th minute but Real Nakonde drew level in the dying minutes of the match through Danny Silavwe.

New comers Buildcon have held Kabwe Warriors to a 0-all draw in the 15:00 hours kickoff played at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
