We are set - Wada

Chipolopolo coach Wedson Nyirenda says that his team will reap maximum points against Mozambique in Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Ndola.

An upbeat Nyirenda told that his team had worked on all the departments and would be geared for victory tomorrow.

“We are more than set, I am confident that no matter what happens we will get the three points,” he said.

“Mozambique is a strong team, we will give them the respect that they deserve, but we have to win to avoid the headache of using calculators at the end of the qualifier.”

Nyirenda said that the U-20 success story would spur his side to keep the winning spirit that the country is engulfed in.

Zambia play its first match in Group K where is has Namibia, Mozambique and Guinea Bissau as opponents in the race for the Cameroun 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

The match will be the first time that they will be playing in the newly launched Mafro kit.
